Make The Cards Challenge Week #18 – Two Things

Hey Y'all!!!  I'm back with the Make The Cards Challenge Week #18.  This week we are featuring a color challenge called Two Things.  You have to use a stenciled background and a die cut sentiment.  Love the way Oxide Inks make such beautiful backgrounds.  Love Sweet Sentiments Earth Mandala stencil and Whimsy Stamps Thanks Word & Shadow die.  This beautiful card is available in my Etsy store HERE!  All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).

I started by using Sweet Sentiment's ‘Earth Mandala Stencil' and Distress Oxide inks to create the beautiful background on Sweet Sentiments ‘Premium Coloring Paper‘.

Distress Oxide Colors:

• Spun Sugar

• Worn Lipstick

• Festive Berries

• Picked Raspberry

The card base is made out of Stampin' UP!'s ‘Flirty Flamingo‘ card stock.  I cut a piece of Stampin' UP!'s ‘Basic White‘ card stock for a layer between the card base and the colorful stenciled piece.   I used two of the dies from Whimsy Stamps ‘Thanks‘ die set for the sentiment.

Beautiful way to say Thanks.
