This beautiful card is available in my Etsy store HERE! All the details for making this card yourself are below (including links).
I love using non-traditional colors for Christmas. Of course, my favorite colors are purple and pink. Die cut all the leaves for this beautiful card using the ‘Assorted Christmas Leaves‘ die set.
The card base is Stampin' UP!'s ‘Gorgeous Grape‘ card stock. The card base is actually 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored on the 8 1/2″ side at 4 1/4″.
I created the background with white card stock and Distress Oxide inks: Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac. I used Scrappy Tails Crafts ‘Hot Foil A2 Snow Background Plate‘ but I actually just ran it through my big shot with the Distress Oxide paper, instead of using it with Hot Foil. It cut the fun holes of snow in the background. Glued a piece of shiny silver paper behind it to give me glittery snow. How fun!
The beautiful Gorgeous Grape border is made with Scrappy Tails Crafts ‘A7 Cloud Frame Cover Plate‘. I cut lots of fun leaves from Stampin' UP!'s ‘Gorgeous Grape‘, ‘Highland Heather' and ‘Blushing Bride‘.
The ‘Merry Christmas' sentiment is from Scrappy Tails Crafts ‘Traditional Merry Christmas Ornament‘ die set. It's cut with Stampin' UP!'s ‘Highland Heather' card stock and glued to a piece of ‘Gorgeous Grape‘.

The colors are unexpected. I’ve seen pink in lots of Xmas cards, but the purple is really new to me. I love the layers and the polka dots. Thanks for sharing and for the detailed explanation.
